Thompson Foundation awards more than $55,000 in grants, scholarships

Thompson Engineering announced today that the Thompson Foundation in March 2017 awarded $55,800 to 26 charitable organizations and institutions of higher learning. This brings the Thompson Foundation’s cumulative giving to more than $682,000 since 2004. The Thompson Foundation is funded through company and employee contributions and two, employee-organized fundraisers. “The majority of the foundation’s funds support the missions of charities that our employees support through volunteer efforts,” said Jimmy Shumock, CEO. “We believe our grants are put to excellent use because they go to organizations and issues that our employees are passionate about.”
